1991 Topps Baseball Card Values
792 cards in the base set · 29 key cards tracked
792 cards with a 40th Anniversary logo on every front, plus Record Breakers (#2-8) and All-Stars (#386-407). The only notable rookie card is #333 Chipper Jones, the No. 1 pick in the 1990 draft. It was the last Topps flagship set on gray card stock and the last with a stick of gum in the packs. Topps celebrated its 40th year by inserting real 1952-1990 Topps cards into random packs. Known variations include #588 Mark Whiten with his hand over the photo border, white-frame versions of #42 Chris Hoiles and #685 Doug Drabek, and a blank-front #1 Nolan Ryan. A Desert Shield parallel was printed for troops in the Gulf War.
